Donald W. Cleary
Donald William Cleary was born on August 11, 1925, in Mamaroneck, New York, to Beatrice A Bell, age 21, and William James Cleary, age 23. He had three brothers Gordon, Kenneth and Bruce and two sisters Audrey and Marilyn.
In Rye his family lived at 20 Elm Place. Donald was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1943 and was a member of the Camera Club.
Donald enlisted in the Army on September 20, 1944, in New York City, New York, during World War II. He was 19 years old. Six years later, he reenlisted on March 1, 1951, when he was 25 years old and served in the Korean War.
After WWII, Donald's family moved to Miami , Florida
He married Miss Olga Fedorowich on Sunday October 12,1947 in St John's Greek Catholic Church, Maizeville, PA. Rev. Simon Milanich, pastor of the church, performed the double-ring ceremony.
He was employed as a photographer in the Liberty Studio. Miami, Fla.
Donald William Cleary died on December 4, 2003, in Miami, Florida, when he was 78 years old.
